Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) In-Person

Join Stacey Stangel from the Central State University Extension office for a 6-week series on Diabetes education. These workshops present evidence-based education on a variety of topics related to healthy living with Diabetes. 

Anyone over 18 is invited to attend. The workshop is excellent for those living with Diabetes themselves, or who assist a family member living with this chronic condition. The focus of these sessions is on learning life skills and shifting patterns. Food preparation is a key factor in preventing secondary conditions associated with Diabetes. With that in mind, these 2-hour sessions will include cooking demonstrations to help illustrate the principals of the course.
