In 2020, the Ohio Genealogical Society launched a new, dynamic website to improve searches in the Society’s databases and to provide better access to its digital collections. Linda Swanson will highlight the resources available on ogs.org and provide tips for searching for and through them.

Linda Swanson, MLIS, has served as Library Collections Manager for the Ohio Genealogical Society since February 2021. She began with OGS as its Digital Librarian in 2019 specializing in metadata, access to digital resources, and digital initiatives. She is a graduate of Denison University and secured her Master’s in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. She also has worked at the Newberry Library in Chicago and the Ashland University Library.
